Figma is overrated. It limits us to visual design. Design can be much, much more.
AI isn't going to take our jobs. And it's not a bubble either (at least not a tech one). The truth is somewhere in between.
Good AI is boring.
Designers should code. Chefs know their ingredients, architects know their building materials, fashion designers know their fabrics. Software designers must know their code.
AI Agents are interns, not terminators (yet).
AI is a bigger UX shift than smartphones.
Design will tell you why your AI will fail, before it fails.
Death to forms. My machines know me. I shouldn't have to type in my information repeatedly. Autofill is a weak solution.
