Light em up.

You can choose the lights on the Empire State Building.

Empire State Colors

I can see the Empire State Building from my parents living room. It’s far, and it looks tiny. But you can make out colors on top of the skyscraper.

They light up the Empire State for all kinds of events: July 4th, Christmas, Eid, Giants (idk why). They even lit it up in orange, green and white for India’s independence day.

Turns out, you can actually request to change the lights. And it's free! You simply fill out a form online: Empire State Building lighting request. Unfortunately, no personal requests.

It would be cool if you could visualize the color inputs, and specify the color values in RGB/HEX instead of text inputs that could be misinterpreted. Plus the mockup of the building would update as you picked the colors. I can do this for you Empire State Building.

P.S. I went up to the top of the Empire State Building many years ago. There was a hype tour guide that asked everyone where they’re form. Everyone shouted out international destinations, and he was mad excited about it. He asked me where I was from, and I said “New Jersey.” He got everyone to laugh at me. In a chill way.
