It's ok to slip.

As long as you get back on track.

It’s ok to slip, as long as you get back on track.

I committed to publishing on LinkedIn every Wednesday in 2024. I’ve been consistent since January. But I slipped up this week because I was traveling.

Missing a single day of my routine used to derail me completely. Like working out. If I skipped one day, that negative energy would build up until I had missed out on months of progress.

There’s a quote I pull up now when I don’t feel like working out: Each day you must choose, the pain of discipline or the pain of regret. That’s usually good enough to get me going.

Right now my brain is mush and I’m beyond exhausted. But I’m forcing myself to write this. Consistent imperfection is better than inconsistent perfection. Or something inspirational like that. Idk.

I’ll be back on Wednesday.
